    Description

    The 1918-S Walking Liberty Half Dollar 90% Silver Coin. The Walking Liberty half dollar is a silver 50-cent piece that was issued by the US Mint from 1916 to 1947.  It was designed by Adolph A. Weinman, a well-known sculptor and engraver.  The obverse features Liberty walking and holding branches; US Flag over shoulder; Sun on the eastern horizon.  The reverse features a bald eagle rising from a mountaintop perch.
