    Description

    1975 BP Oil Springboard Engraved Silverplated Footed Trophy Bowl Flower Frog - This very unique piece is a silverplated footed "trophy" bowl engraved with the BP oil logo and the words Springboard 1975. We believe this came from a banquet or conference at Oxford University where BP has a program called "Springboard." This program connects
    senior female scientists and engineers from BP with female undergraduates for mentoring. It provides the students with role models who are able to share their insights into what a career in the oil and gas sector entails. The bowl has a raised lion head holding a ring on each side and the base is made of a hard plastic. Measure 6.5 inches tall and 7.5 inches across the top. It has a removable metal flower frog that sits inside the bowl. A very interesting piece! This came from an Atlanta, Ga estate.
