This listing is for 3 pounds of mixed pieces of chert, flint, and mozarkite.  You will get many pieces of chert of various colors.
You will get an assortment of pieces ranging in size from an inch or two up to over a pound!
Perfect for fire starters.  Other people use them for cabbing.  While some pieces might be suitable for knapping, MOST pieces will be either too small or too fractured for an arrowhead.
HIGHEST QUALITY AMERICAN CHERT
This chert comes straight from the American Ozarks.  This area of the US is known for high quality chert that is both strong and beautiful.  There is a rainbow of colors from white to pink to grey (which is called flint).  All of them form the same distinctive breaking pattern with a microfine edge..
IMPORTANT NOTE
The pictures are not the exact pieces you will get; however, they are found on the same land and are representative of the chert that you will receive.
There is HUGE variation in the colors of chert and the sizes of stone.
