Antique Iron Compass Scribe Carpentry Tool WM Johnson Newark NJ
Very nice condition, has an overall even coat of light surface rust but is not deeply pitted or damaged by rust.
The only issue I see is that the sliding bar through the lock bolt is slightly bent.
Threads on the bolt are very good and do not show excessive wear.
Marked on center shaft "WM Johnson New Ark NJ"
Center shaft is approx. 4" long
Approx. 6" at widest extension and around 3 3/4" wide pulled together.
