    Per Blum the formula for determining the power factor is door height in inches x door weight in pounds (including twice the handle weight) = Power Factor. For example, a 20" high door with a weight of 15lbs (which includes twice the handle weight) would be 20 x 15 = Power Factor 300.
    NOTE: Trial application recommended when the required power factor is in a borderline area of lift mechanisms.
