Overlay
is the distance that the 1st door, on the side where that door meets the actual cabinet, overlays the cabinet side panel or face frame)
FOR TRADITIONAL FACE FRAME OR FRAMELESS EURO STYLE CABINETRY

THIS KIT UTILIZES:
2) 170 DEGREE CLIP HINGES #71T6580, self-closing (if dowels are removed, this hinge becomes #71T6550)
2) 60 DEGREE BI-FOLD CLIP HINGES #79T8530.10, fully adjustable (if dowels are removed, this hinge becomes #79T8500.10)
2) 0mm CLIP MOUNTING PLATES, #175L6600.22 (used on the bifolds)
2) 3mm CLIP MOUNTING PLATES, #175L6630.22 (used on the 170's for 1/2-5/8" overlay)
2) 6mm CLIP MOUNTING PLATES, #175L6660.22 (
used on the 170's for 3/8-1/2" overlay) (these plates not shown in picture)

Please note that this kit is NOT available in this configuration from BLUM or BLUM DISTRIBUTORS. I have assembled this kit so that you would get everything you need all in one kit to install doors on a 90-degree corner cabinet. These hinges are complete with three-way adjustment screws. These 170 hinges WILL accept the optional soft-closing Blumotion shock absorber; however, you will find it actually interferes with closing the doors at normal speeds.

All four hinge bores use a 35mm bit drilled 1/2" deep
.
The 170-degree hinge bore is in 5mm from edge of door (this would be 22.5mm to center).
The Bi-fold hinges require a bore distance from the door edge to the CENTER of 12.5mm. (this is a partial hole. A test bore is strongly advised)

can be of equal or unequal width. To
calculate the door width (DW) of each door
follow the step-by-step below:
Step 1.
Add the interior width to the side
panel width (W)
Step 2.
Subtract door thickness (T) and
reveal (R)
Step 3.
Subtract gap (G) bumper
