Build Your Own BP Model Service Station 1994

This auction is for a Build Your Own BP Service Station. I believe this edition came out at Christmas time in 1994. The box is still sealed so unopened, though some of the tape is barely hanging on. This is a snap together kit so more easily assembled by the younger builders in your family. The box says it is suitable for ages 3 and up but I'm guessing the younger ones will need some help. I've read online that the station is 1/43 scale so it should go fine with the popular die cast cars of that scale. It would make a nice display spot for collectors of those scale automobiles.
The contents are listed on the back of the box and include pumps with canopy, car wash, a shop, a workshop and 2 pieces of what they call forecourt(curbing, etc?). The box itself is in good shape although there is a rub spot on the front and there is some sun bleaching on one end. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. It's a heavy box with a shipping weight of almost 5 pounds so I apologize for the shipping cost. So, no thanks to the USPS. Shipping will be via Priority Mail and I almost always ship the next day after receipt of payment in a suitable shipping container so that your item will arrive in the same shape as when it was shipped.
