C436a Antique Coalport Tea Cup & Saucer

Description

CONDITION:  The cup is slightly yellowed with age.
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Coalport around 1820.
It is from the Georgian era.
The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches deep.
The cup is 2 1/8 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches.
The ground color is deep cobalt blue.
There are reserves inside the cup and around the saucer containing sprays of colorful flowers.
There is rich hand painted gilding and trim.
