This is a very fine and elegant service for 12 brought to you by one of England's premier manufacturers of fine bone china... Coalport..
the pattern on this exquisite china is an overall white background with a magnificently detailed series of borders on the interior of each piece... there are actually five different borders on the pieces... the central border, which is colored with a gorgeous turquoise color has stylized florals surrounding baskets of fruits which have a raised detail on them... there are elements of gray in the detail, along with black and each piece also has bands of gold at the edge of the pieces that further add to the elegant details of each piece... additionally, the center of the pieces has a very intricately detailed star that also has elements of the border along with the raised detail with touches of orange, yellow and green...
this wonderful set comes to you from a Michigan estate and appears to have been respectfully used... There are no cracks, chips, crazing, staining on the pieces... I will identify any imperfections in the list below...
