Early PIKE WASHITA OIL STONE - No1 Qual - Sharpining for Mechanics - Wooden Box

Description

This is a PIKE WASHITA OIL STONE NO. 1 QUALITY - It is in it's original wooden box and the stone measures 5 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1".  The closed box measures 6 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 1 1/2.  The inside lid has a red stamp type label that quite faded (see pic).
Stone seems to have sharp corners, it lays flat in the box with sharp edges.  I couldn't get the stone out of the bottom of the box.  I didn't want to force it.  This is the original box and it is in fair condition.  There is no label except for the stamp in the inside of the lid (see pic).  The box could use a cleaning.
