A very large beautiful 11 stone Karuna Set that has been polished and shaped to enhance their natural shapes. Gold engraved. Approximately 1.5" x 2". Weighs about 8 oz. Most sets weigh about 4 oz. These are extra large. Includes a velvet storage pouch.
Black Obsidian is a powerful cleanser of psychic smog created within your aura, and is a strong psychic protection stone. It has powerful metaphysical properties that will shield you against negativity, and the energy of this stone may stimulate the gift of prophecy.

Karuna is a Sanskrit word that is used in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Zen. It is translated as any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others. It may literally be translated as “compassionate action.” It is a logical extension of the idea of Oneness. Karuna must be accompanied by parjna (wisdom) in order to have the right effect.
The symbols were channeled by several Reiki masters including Marcy Miller, Kellie-Ray Marine, Pat Courtney, Catherine Mills Bellamont, and Marla Abraham. Rand used the symbols and found them to have value, but felt that they had greater potential than had previously been accessed. Meditation on them led him to develop the attunement process and to call the new system Karuna Reiki. Some of the symbols used in Karuna Reiki are used in other systems, but they do not have the same effectiveness or healing energies as in the Karuna system.
Karuna Reiki energy is different from Usui Reiki, and most find Karuna to be more powerful. The energy of Karuna has a more definite feeling to it than Usui and works on all the energy bodies at the same time. Students report feeling that the energy surrounds them and the client as well as flowing through them. Karuna also has a grounding effect. Karuna practitioners often report experiences with their guides, angels, and higher self and feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings.
The Karuna symbols can be used just like the other Reiki symbols when giving Reiki treatments.
Karuna can teach one to be more open to universal Oneness by enhancing our abilities to receive guidance and by introducing us to other great spiritual masters unknown to us in our present lifetime.
