  • Condition: Lantern has age related wear throughout and has been painted to match the red lens. The back metal slide cover has been added not original but works fine. The red glass lens has a few chips here and there but not cracked or broken. Handle is kind of wonky but nice an solid. Please see photos for a better condition description. Thanks for looking.

    Huge 17'' Antique Dressel Nautical Lantern. Red Lens.
    Ok so here is where it gets tricky. This lantern is signed Dressel Railway Lamp & Signal Company but my research
    shows that they also had a few nautical contracts. I do sell nautical lights and lanterns here locally because of my
    location here on the coastline and I have never seen this style lantern by Dressel ship or train before.
    So if you collect nautical lights and lanterns this would be a great addition to your collection and something a little different than the usual.
    Lantern measures 17'' Tall without handle up x 10'' Wide x 9 3/4'' Deep and weighs 10 1/2 lbs.
