    =====
    The first part of this offering is a
    GREAT
    article about the movie.
    This appeared 46 years ago in the
    AMERICAN HERITAGE Magazine
    . April 1972. Volume 13, #3.
    This magazine comes HardBound, instead of paperbound like most magazines.
    Contains:
    "Houdini's High-Flying Hoax"
    by Art Ronnie.
    A wonderful article about the airplanes which collided during the filming of Houdini's movie
    "The Grim Game"
    .
    A full six photos in this article -plus- great reading on what was almost tragic, but turned out to be the best thing for the movie.
    Houdini offered a Huge Reward to anyone who could prove this scene, in the movie, was not for real.
    Since it DID Happen, that was a pretty safe bet and smart of Houdini to capitalize on the publicity, of the almost fatal stunt.
    =====
    The second item included is a reproduction of the Very Rare 1-sheet poster.
    In the Summer of 1997, a 1-sheet Poster for Houdini’s Movie “The Grim Game” sold at auction. Price (with buyers fees) exceeded ,000.
    There were only three of these posters known - with two of these being in Appleton, Wisconsin.
    The Poster was later sold in the ,000 range.
    What’s offered here is a reprint of this very RARE poster.
    The reprint was made from the Actual Poster, which sold in the Summer 1997 auction.
    This poster measures 11”x17” and comes housed inside a top-loading hard plastic sleeve.
    Mounted on the back of the sleeve is a tab, which when pulled out, makes this Poster ready for hanging.
    Would look great hanging next to all your other Magic Posters.
    So, there you have it - two great pieces of Houdini movie memorabilia for the price of one.
