    Description

    Kundu wood drum from Papua, New Guinea.  Simple hourglass design from the Southern Highlands area.  Kundu is a generic name given to New Guinea drums.
    There are a myriad of different types of these fascinating musical instruments.  Most tribes have a style of their own.  Most have a lizard or possum skin on top.  Lizard skin top on this one.
    Previously owned in good condition with minimal evidence of use.  Age is unknown.
    Measures 20.25" tall with a top and bottom diameter of around 4".
