    Old large genuine statue depicting ancestor in traditional sitting posture, with a smaller humanoid figure on the left side and a bird on the right side. A bird is also on the head of the figure. This animal in Timorese culture represents in fact the cycle of life and death and is there to accompany the deceased in the afterlife. Probably used as a finial / roof top as the hole on the base suggests.
