This dangle pin released at Disneyland Resort features Mickey as an astronaut dangling from the attractions in Tomorrowland. The pin reads 1998 Disneyland and the dangle reads Tomorrowland.
The pins shows a rocket, planets with rings and what could be a type of satellite.
This pin is somewhat unique because the dangle hooks onto the pin back. The last loop on the dangle chain is meant to slip onto the pin back. Its not welded onto the bottom or anything like newer dangles. Quite a few of the dangles have been lost/separated from the rest of the pin over the years.
This gold-finished, textured-back pin measures(upper)1 1/8" tall by 1 3/4" wide (lower)13/16" tall by 1" wide. Together they measure 2 1/2" tall. The dangle is suspended, from the stake of the upper pin, by means of a chain and a necklace clasp. Both are backstamped, "(C)DISNEY-Taiwan".
