Lot# S1P7Z3W - THE ULTIMATE POKER PLAYER'S CARD MARKER or display item.   This is an original unopened c1950's-1960's Silver Dollar Roll with Twenty 100% all silver Half Dollars inside.  Binion's Hotel and Casino was the original home of the World Series of Poker.   This roll pre-dates even that as the WS did not begin until 1970.   This very rare roll has a 1934 Walking Liberty Half Dollar on one end and a 1935 Walking Liberty Half Dollar on the other.   It is an original casino gambling coin roll.  Each of the 20 coins in this roll are guaranteed to contain 0.900 ounces of Pure Silver.   The roll weighs 8.8 oz in the paper.  It contains a total of 7.238oz of Pure Silver.
This is among the very last vintage Las Vegas casino rolls we have to sell.   It is a different example than the other we have listed.   This one is super tight.   This new listing and a few others are our final inventory of them (of over 60 sold).   They are among the rarest.  This original casino roll is super tight.  Exactly as you hope to find but rarely will.
There are 20 Half Dollars in the Roll. The value of this very rare roll is as an intact antique.   For a professional poker player seeking the rarest and most interesting card marker of all time, this is it.   We have acquired a number of these rolls from a private hoard.   That gentleman has held them as acquired for over five decades.   This is the rarest of all.   Most of the original 1950's and 1960's Rat pack era casino rolls we have found of other casinos.   This one is a extremely uncommon, preserved never opened original silver dollar roll  from Binion's.  The casino opened in 1951, so this roll must be c1951 to 1961 (or so).   From a time when gamblers would used Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars in slot machines.
This roll is very rare in original condition.   The ends are originally rolled and super tight on both ends.  Clearly there are Circulated Walking Liberty Half
Dollars on each end

Beyond that it is a mystery.  There may be super rare coins inside or they may be any year's within the logical range as no one has opened it since it was created.  The value unopened vs. opened is left to the new owner.  Opening it is totally at the risk of the buyer.  We do not recommend opening the roll as the value of these rolls without opening has been
consistently
rising for years. Once opened it is a pile of circulated coins that may or may not be highly valuable, but the value it has to others as a sealed original casino roll is lost forever.  We do NOT accept returns if the roll is opened as it is then no longer the same item.  Again, opening or tampering of any kind is 100% at the risk of the buyer and voids any return.  We are selling it valued as what it is now, an old unopened Las Vegas casino roll with a very rare history being from Binion's Horseshoe, the home of the original World Series of Poker.
This is a very rare roll.  There are plenty of casino tokens and penny rolls listed but the ones with silver coins were opened long ago.   You can look a long time and not find one of these in this condition.
We have a series of them, so will be listing others over time.   The ends are original, as shown.   It has clearly never been opened or damaged.   This rare silver coin casino 1950's or 1960's roll is among the best condition of all of the Rat Pack era rolls we have.  There are no flaws other than a tiny bit of toning and rub to the paper, and even that is not a flaw as we would have to wonder why a 65 year old coin roll would not have any if it didn't.
