The Effectory - Calculated Decision
Effect:  Shuffle and cut an ordinary deck of cards.  Have the spectator select a card.  Have the spectator look at and memorize the card.  Have the spectator place it down in front of them.  Bored yet?  Good, because what you have just read are about the only things Calculated Decision has in common with most any other practically performable card effect.  As their chosen card is to be going back into the deck, deal them an xyz "locator" card and ditto for yourself.  Have them slide their chosen card back into the deck, which you then cut face up.   The purpose of the locator cards is to tell you what and where their card is so, by all means, go ahead and turn their locator card over.   It's blank.   Turn your card over.  Its become a card calculocator.  Tap the calculocator keys a few times and the name of their chosen card has appeared in the calculocator window.  To prove the calculocator isn't lying, fan out the face up deck (which has remianed in plain site and untouched all along) and only one card is face up:  their's again.   Looks of bewildered astonishment are included free of charge,..
This item came from the estate of a home magician. Comes with complete instructions and cards needed for effect.  The instructions are a loose set of papers, so I'm not sure if this was the original form the instructions came in.  It appears it could be a copy of original instructions.
