An UNUSED 1 1/2 M.M. "PLUGGING" CHISEL, No. A720, by Two Cherries, Remscheid, Germany. These specialized chisels, which were also produced with a 2 mm thick blade, were used for the fitting of specialized window sash hinges. The cutting edge measures 1 3/16" in width. The complete process of fitting and mounting the hinges is shown in the Youtube video, "Fitschen, Fitschenb�nder einstemmen, Lappenb�nder f�r T�ren und Fenster". The video is in German, but the use of the chisel is clearly illustrated. A most interesting and unusual specialized woodworking tool in unused condition in its original box.
