  • Condition: The kit is unbuilt, however it is vintage and as such the box, directions and decals show some signs of age, being on shelves etc. Note that turret #1 is missing as are the life rafts.

    USS SOUTH DAKOTA
    1/700 Scale by Hasegawa
    This highly detailed model kit.
    This kit was sold to me as complete, but it was not.
    It is missing turret number one.
    Someone started the kit, gluing on the anti aircraft platforms on the number 2 and 3 turrets. The plain turret, thus is the one missing (on the bow, #1).
    Also, the life rafts are missing.
    I inventoried the parts, the rest are present although a couple are off the parts runner and lose in the box. If this doesn't sell, I may try resin casting the turret and the rafts, which is an option for you as well. I've got more kits in my stash than I can build so I'm selling some off.  Please examine the pictures.
