    Description

    This is a Crescent no. 56 "Suregrip" Nail puller / Remover. These are such neat tools. This tool is to a hammer what an eraser is to a pencil! Want a nail removed with the least amount of damage?

    Just place the tool with its jaws over the nail on each side (next to last pic). Then slam the tool until the jaws bite down on each side. Then pull backward (last pic) and the nail comes out clean.

    The tool has a uniform coat of cosmetic rust all over it, but it is not ugly and is perfectly functional. And it is a collectable tool besides. Every carpenter needs one of these as much as a hammer.
