My dad worked for Lufthansa for several decades and retired a while back. Prior to retirement, he obtained this coat but ended up not wearing it and it has hung in his home coat closet since then. So it is essentially VINTAGE but unworn and new.
NOTE:
His home does have a wood burning fireplace and he does use it. I personally do not detect a smoke smell in this item but just want to give you full disclosure of the fireplace in his home.  He is now doing some downsizing so we're helping him clear out some items and selling them for him.

Size: Euro 54 which according to my conversion chart is equivalent to an Adult Size LARGE   ***Please check the measurements to ensure this will fit your intended recipient***
According to my measurements, this rare longer coat is approximately 41" long from shoulder to bottom edge and 48" around from underarm to underarm. The sleeve length is approximately 20" long from wrist to underarm.
The color is a very dark navy blue ...looks black in certain lighting.
Snap in/snap out fleece lining which can be removed.
Zipper and button front closure.
Attached hood.
Multiple pockets.
Removable belt.
The outer layer is made of 65% Polyester/35% Cotton while the removable inner fleece lining is made of 85% Polyacryl/15% Polyester.
As mentioned above, while vintage circa 1980's issue, it has not been worn and is in
NEW
condition.
A fun piece of rare wearable airline memorabilia for a travel/airline buff.
We are a SMOKE-FREE and PET-FREE household & all clothing is washed in allergen-free detergent. I continue to list additional items when I find the time.
