For those who don't know, this style of knife was developed during and after the Civil War for the thousands of vets who had lost a hand or arm in the war. The point allowed you to use your belt edge to open the knife for shaving or daily use.  The end could be used to crush pills or medicines.
This is in excellent condition, never sharpened or carried. With magnification you might see a couple light scratches or spots on the blade.
This opens properly and closes with a good snap.
