Vintage S.J. Addis & Sons Spoon Gouge/Chisel Carving
Vintage used gouge/chisel stamped on the
left side
with
“S.J. Addis Cast Steel & Makers Mark”
while the
right side
is marked with the
"England 29"
.
The overall length measures 7 3/4” with the blade measuring .437" wide (outer edge to outer edge at the widest point of the spoon).
The steel measures 4 5/8” from the cutting edge to the ferrule.
The steel exhibits no rust or major scratches while the handle is solid with signs of normal wear.
