Zippo Slim Lighter 1995 Crouching Tiger
Purchased from a Zippo display at a corner store's stock clear out.
I have done as best as possible a job to determine the condition of the lighter. I have given it to a local expert to review as some of my older lighters procured in this buyout have been deemed refurbished or cleaned. In those cases I have tried to indicate that the lighters have visible wear and have provided as many pictures as is possible in each eBay listing. In any event, I am calling these lighters "Used" if there is are questions in the matter.
Some of these lighters have (or had) red "official" stickers applied to the back of the lighters and in some cases the glue was so old the labels have come off on their own, in other cases the stickers were removed enough to open the lighter up to validate the "newness" of the lighter. You will see this in the pictures.
Lighter is so old the red sticker's glue has given away (see pics) Insert is from old Zippo Niagara Falls plant (which has since closed but I am told this happened for Zippos slated for the Canadian market during this time period) The Instructions/Certificate is from the Niagara Plant as well which points it to the Canadian Market as well. This one has very little wear on the item and is as close to new as can be possible, however all these tiger ones have been refurbished thus far so I will mark this one the same. The flint has started to turn to dust inside for that will need to be replaced as well.
